BixiShell personal assistant · Last updated 5 November 2026

BixiShell ("the application") is a private, single-user personal productivity assistant operated by, and used exclusively by, its own owner. It is not a public service, it has no customers or end users other than the owner, and it is not distributed or offered to third parties.

What the application accesses

With the owner's explicit authorisation, the application uses Google APIs to access:

How the data is used

Data is used only to prepare summaries, reminders and record-keeping for the owner. There is no advertising, no profiling, no analytics and no automated decision-making that affects anyone other than the owner.

Where the data goes

Nowhere. Data retrieved through Google APIs is processed locally on the owner's own computers. It is not sold, rented, shared, transferred or disclosed to any third party, and it is not used to train machine-learning models. No human other than the owner can read it.

Storage and retention

Summaries and notes are stored in the owner's local files and in the owner's own Google Drive. Backups are encrypted at rest by the owner's own systems and retained only while they are useful. Cached copies can be deleted by the owner at any time.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

Access and deletion

The owner can revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all further data collection immediately. Locally held copies are then deleted on request.

Security

OAuth tokens are stored locally and never transmitted to any party other than Google. Access is restricted to the owner's own devices.
